Emily Grant is a resident of Manatee County since 2017 with expertise in local food systems from her experience with UF/IFAS Extension Family Nutrition Program and FoodRecovery.org. She is an avid gardener at the Elwood Community Garden.

With over 9 years of experience in program development and partnership building, she brings a fresh perspective and strong leadership to improve food security for all Manatee residents.

She speaks Spanish and is learning Portuguese.
