Objective: The Steering Committee governs, provides strategic oversight, accountability, and stakeholder representation.
Structure:
Steering Committee Composition: The members commit to one year and are selected ensure alignment with the mission, equity values, and early strategic needs of the MFSN.
Selection Criteria: Prioritize a cross-section of community voices (nonprofits, public agencies, Chamber of Commerce, grassroots leaders, residents with lived experience, funders).
Evolution: Steering Committee will set the structure for MFSN.
Deliverables:
Approve budget
Discuss and provide feedback for work plan
Provide guidance for the launch of the Navigator Pilot Program & the USF Data Mapping Project
Develop needed task force(s), such as Cooperative Purchasing
